The Department of Homeland Security has started requesting personal SNS reporting for foreign travelers who need to register ESTA (electronic travel certification system) including Japanese. ESTA is a travel registration system that regular Japanese must register beforehand when traveling to the United States.

Until now, I should have registered personal information such as name, address, nationality etc, but in addition to that I was able to request account reports of SNS such as Facebook and Twitter. The selectable SNS service in the ESTA pull-down menu is as follows. If SNS service is not an option, select "Other" and fill in with typing.
